Hike for Haiti

Join us Saturday, March 11, 2017 for the Saint Mark's 6th Annual Hike for Haiti!

Nature Center - 1750 North Altadena Drive, Pasadena

7:00 am - Check-in at Yellow Gate past the Eaton Canyon

Hike will begin at 7:30 am SHARP

Why Hike?

To raise money for the lunch program and teachers’ salaries at Saint Marguerite School in Haiti.  Through this program, Saint Mark's has been providing a daily hot lunch to 150 students since 2012.

Why so far?

The hike to Henninger Flats is a similar distance to the one which Saint Marguerite students traverse each day to get to school. Braving this distance and terrain is a great reminder of how much these students value their education and how important our efforts to support them really are!

(NOTE:  A shorter hiking route will be available for the younger hikers - or anyone who needs it)

What should we bring?

Water, sunscreen, a hat, and more water.  There is a fountain available for refills at the park, but you you don't want to run out of water on the trail.

Where to Park?

The parking lot gate is locked at this time, please park on Altadena Drive and walk down to Eaton Canyon Nature Center.
